Gulf–Asia Trade Corridors: Reading the Cost of the Shift

Abstract

This paper measures how the eastward redirection of Gulf trade affects logistics, shipping contracts and energy pricing. It shows that gains in volume do not translate into gains in margin unless port bottlenecks are addressed, and proposes three investment priorities ranked by return.
